Service Options
Traditional Funeral Service
A traditional funeral service refers to a visitation with a funeral service and interment the following day. The service may be religious or secular and may be held at the funeral home or a place of worship.
Traditional Funeral with Cremation
Cremation does not mean you cannot have a traditional funeral. A traditional funeral with cremation allows the family to have a visitation and a funeral service with the body present. Cremation occurs after the service and interment occurs at a later date.
Memorial Service with Cremation
A memorial service can take place after cremation. The family may choose to have the deceased’s cremated remains present. Cremated remains may be buried, scattered or placed in a columbarium following the service.
Direct Cremation
When a family chooses direct cremation the deceased is transported to the funeral home and cremated after authorization is given and necessary permits have been obtained. Any services selected will take place without the body present.
Direct Burial
When a family chooses direct burial the deceased is transported to the funeral home, placed in the chosen casket and buried once authorization is given. There is no visitation, funeral service or committal service with direct burial.
These are only a few examples of the many service options available. |
