| Ruth Agnes Andrew, nee Robertson, a life long resident of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, passed away Oct. 14, 2009. Mrs. Andrew was born Sept. 6, 1929 to Olive and Arthur Robertson. She married James M. Andrew in 1952. Ruth graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1947 and then spent many years as a travel agent. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling, was a wonderful baker and an avid reader. In the recent past, Ruth was very active at the Lake Forest /Lake Bluff Senior Center. She is survived by her daughters Deborah (Tom) Giles and Jennifer Kempe, both of Denver, CO and her sons Donald (Erna) of Chicago, Greg of Lake Bluff and Thomas (Mary) of Libertyville, 5 grandchildren, a niece and nephew and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband James, parents Arthur and Olive, brothers Donald and Roger and a grandson Robert. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Senior Center, 100 E. Old Mill Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045 or the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, Memorial & Tribute Lockbox, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
