Loving Husband of Katherine nee Steinhauer; Loving father of Karen (James) Ports of Colorado Springs, CO, Susan (Patrick) Vehlow of Libertyville, the late Paul Louis Szaflarski (1956), Mark (Monica) Szaflarski of Oak Park and David (Karyn) Szaflarski of Lake Forest; Cherished grandfather of Christine Basley, Jeffrey & Matthew Ports, Elizabeth & Jonathan Vehlow and Emily & Anna Szaflarski; Cherished great grandfather of Rochelle Basley and Jacob, William & Thomas Ports.
