| Jerrold “Jerry” Hansen, 80, recently of Lincolnshire formerly a longtime resident of Lake Forest died December 28, 2009 at Manor Care in Libertyville. Mr. Hansen was born August 11, 1929 in Lake Forest. 1947 graduate of Lake Forest High School where in 1946 he was named All-State football player. He then attended Michigan State University. Served with the Seabees during the Korean War and later retired after 34 years as a plumber with Great Lakes Plumbing and Heating. Jerry was a longtime volunteer in Lake Forest at Westmoreland, Deer Path School and Kinderhaven. Husband of Alice. Brother of the late T.J. Hansen of York, Maine. Brother-in-law of Marcia (the late Jim) Griffiths of Des Moines, IA. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 E. Vine Ave. Lake Forest, IL 60045.
