| Edward H. Thomas, age 82 of Libertyville formerly of Knox, IN died February 5, 2010. Life member of American Legion Post 510, Lake Bluff and 40 & 8 voiture 604 of Gurnee. Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. Graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology in 1952 and received his MBA from UIC. Retired from the state of Indiana as an auditor in 1994. For the past 15 years he and his wife have been devoted to the American Legion and the 40 & 8 and traveling. Husband of Dorothy nee Tauber; father of Laura Luhtala of Orlando, FL; and Edy (Paul) Lotharius of Lake Forest; grandfather of Kathryn and Sydney Lotharius. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Legion Post 510, P.O. Box 142, Lake Bluff, IL 60044.
