Patricia Stach Chase, 86, of Lake Bluff, died Feb. 19, 2010. She was born in Iowa City, IA and graduated from the University of Iowa. After graduating college, Patricia accepted a position in Washington, D.C. with the FBI and later became the Secretary to the General Partner of Merrill Lynch Stock Brokers. She transferred to the Chicago office where she met her future husband to be Edward Chase, Jr. In later years she was a Wing of the Infant Welfare Society. She is survived by her dear son, Robert (Linda) Chase. She was preceded in death by her husband “Ned” in October 2004 and two brothers, Carl and Robert Stach.
