| Elizabeth Armour Hollins died peacefully in Lake Forest, Illinois at the age of 91 on July 16, 2010. Born in New York City on May 17, 1919, she was the eldest child of Lester Armour and Leola Stanton Armour. After graduating from Latin School of Chicago, she spent a year touring Italy, before returning to Chicago to marry Gerald V. Hollins (deceased). A passionate reader and gardener, she was also the mother of three children, Peter (deceased), Danforth, and Michael. She is also survived by six grand children, nine great grandchildren children, two great great grandchildren, a brother, Vernon Armour, and a sister, Leola Macdonald. The visitation and burial are private. Memorial Mass 10am Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045.
