| Agnes Gillenberg, of Lake Forest, IL, died Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Westmoreland Nursing Center in Lake Forest. She was born on April 3, 1922 in Ashland, WI. Survivors include a daughter, Maralee (Rick) Murphy of Estero, FL, a son, Jim (Sherry) Gillen of Lake Bluff, IL, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert, in 2008, her parents, John and Sophia Uitto, her sisters Alma Peltonen, Eleanor Uitto, Ella Mattson, Helen Meyers, Mayme Bissell, Olivia Poppe and Ruth Uitto, and her brothers Alvin, John and Matt. An eternally upbeat person, Agnes will be remembered by her family and friends for her good nature and happy manner. Visitation is from 3-6 PM on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Avenue in Lake Forest. Info: (847) 234-0022; www.wenbanfh.com. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Libertyville Covenant Church (Saint Mary's Road and Route 176) in Libertyville, IL followed by the burial at Lake Forest Cemetery and a funeral luncheon.
