Kapecki, 78, of Lake Forest formerly of Northbrook, died March 5, 2012 Husband of Renee, nee Koy; Father of Ken (Melinda) Kapecki of Libertyville, Garrin (Julie) Kapecki of Lake Forest and the late Robin (Steven) Jansen; Grandfather of Nicolas, Lindsay, Genevieve, Kelli, Annie, Alex, Collin and Joe. Brother of the late Patricia Casey and Brother-in-Law of the late Ken Koy. Walter was born in Chicago on June 9, 1933. He was the former president of Lloyd-Thomas Coats and Burchard Co., a member of the America Society of Appraisers and a active parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lake Forest. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. funeral mass Friday, March 9, 2012, at St. Patrick Church, 950 West Everett Road, Lake Forest, Illinois 60045. Interment private.
