| Myrna Christopherson Kline, 82, of Lake Forest, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was born on March 7, 1930, in Kenmare, North Dakota. She leaves behind her three daughters, Mia Kammerer (Mark), Mari Christopherson, and Kari Falls (Chris), and her grandchildren Mark Jr., Jake, Frances, Jamie, Mai, Maren, Ingrid, and Sofia. Loving wife of L. Patton Kline and the late Weston R. Christopherson. Sister of Walter Christensen, and the late Carol Jean Bothun, and the late Lee Christensen of North Dakota. Myrna grew up on her family farm in Kenmare, North Dakota. She attended the University of North Dakota and became a school teacher. She married Weston in 1951 and they settled in the Chicago area to raise their family. Myrna worked actively on behalf of many civic and charitable organizations around Chicago most notably Reading is Fundamental, University of Chicago, McCormick Theological Seminary, and the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest. A passionate cook, her Scandinavian dinner parties were a sought after invitation. Her elegance and timeless grace will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to McCormick Theological Seminary, 5460 S. University Avenue, Chicago, Il 60615. No visitation.
