During this time she served in multiple offices of both the Chicago and Illinois Societies of Directors of Volunteer Services. She was active in numerous other organizations as well, including the Lake Forest Women’s Club, the Lake Forest College Women’s Board, the AAUW, the Renaissance Club of the Art Institute and the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society.
