Frank E. Loring, 88, a 50 year resident of Lake Forest and Delray Beach, Florida, died May 9, 2012. Husband of Vera Loring of Lake Forest. Father of Steven W. Loring of Lake Forest, Anita (Jack Brown) White-Brown of Antioch and Caralyn (Sasha von Varga) Graham of Glencoe. Grandfather of Leslie White, Haley Graham, Frankie Graham, Mia von Varga and step grand children. Uncle of Carol (Brian) Dupuis and nephews, Michael, Erik, Tom, Step Granddaughters Jennifer (David) Loicano, and Sarah Brown, Andrew Misika, and great grandchildren. Frank was a graduate of Northwestern University School of Business and was part of the Admirals Band in Brooklyn, NY during WWII where he played the saxophone and clarinet in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Loring worked for Aubrey Lanston & Co. in Chicago for over 35 years and retired in 1989 as Senior Vice President and head of the Chicago office. He was a member of the Knollwood Club and the Gulf Stream Little Club. All service private.
