Dorothy Jensen passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the age of 88.
She was a lifelong resident of Lake Forest and worked for many years at the Lake Forest Hospital Resale Shop. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothy was also a passionate equestrian and animal lover her entire life.
She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Peter Jensen, daughters Dorothy Hawkes (William) of Madison, WI and Susan Lundin (Alan and Haley) of Cherry Valley, IL.
A graveside service for family and close friends was held on May 21, 2012 at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Lake Forest.
